About Community Building Circle Practices

Communities have gathered, originally around a campfire, to build capacity, listen to all voices, share in leadership, improve the community and problem solve. Circle practices invite a community to discover a deeper way of being together with agreements in a brave space. The specific practice of “holding” a circle space is a part of The Art of Hosting work and promotes participatory leadership, builds relationships and helps to develop self healing communities. Community Building Circles are the foundation of building a healthy restorative justice practice in your community. These community building circles are just the beginning.
